I’ve decided to concentrate on the restoration work I do as apposed to photography. I never take a picture with the idea of showing it to someone or for that matter selling it, I take it because it pleases me and I never really know for sure what I have till I look at it on the computer. Thats not to say I have no idea it’s just a digital world and I enjoy applying the different digital processes to an image for my final result.

    I’ve chosen the cover image of my Great Grandfather as a young man  learning the blacksmith trade before and after to give the viewer some idea as to whats possible in the restoration process and also I just really like the shot. He was part of my growing up as a child and this is a good remembrance.

    I’m going to post more images and start to keep the site up to date with new restorations along with some of those other images that please me.

    So this is the beginning with much more to come.
