These images are of a pine grove in the Busch Wildlife Conservation area here in the St. Louis area. There are more than 30 lakes and several thousand acres of forest and plains managed to preserve a wild area in the middle of fast paced Population. The Pine Grove is one of my favorite places because it changes by the minute with shadows and color depending on the time of day and season. It's a quiet place.
