This morning ???? Took a bike ride this morning and road 7 miles and walked 4. I had water , a spare, tire tools , everything that you bikers know you have to carry with you when I had a flat rear tire. Lets see did I miss something????? oh yeah the friggin tire pump. Thats when you would have heard me. We only have 4 or five of these things here in the house I'm just not smart enough to put one on my bike. I walked 4 miles and come to think of it walking is good exercise , it just seems a bit embarrassing walking for exercise pulling a bike along side. Luckily there weren't to many riders or walkers on the Katy this morning.
Ok feet up this afternoon for a bit than computer work.
Hung to 16X20's at the Hospital in Washington yesterday, the theme is organic.
Ok mounting a pump on the bike and repairing the rear tire sometime today.
Enough for now , shower , and nap .
great day

this entry is for you. I am still alive and I haven't hurt myself with the chain saw. I have been busy and unmotivated as far as blogging is concerned. But for now I'll bring us all up to date.I have been working on scans for a friend in Chesterfield, she's working on family history and its a big family. I have all the positives finished and now I'm working on negative scans which take longer with this little scanner I have. I continue to volunteer at EE and along with the volunteering I take picture of different events their involved in for possible use in the new web page. AHA did I say web page. Well I spent two and a half hours with a talented teck guy last week to hopefully learn how to build this web site for EE and I now have a pretty good idea as to how far over my head I am with this project. I have finished the design of the front page and here it is.

I just need to figure out how to add text now and headers and stuff and we'll be good to go. Anyone out there like to help??? I'm working with a JOOLMA template and its supposed to be really easy,,,,NOT.
Now back to the blog thingy. I've hesitated in commenting on current events in this space because its so boring. For instance , we're all getting all we need about politics from the two that are running so we don't need any input from me. I might add that these two are not real in that they will tell us all what we want to here just to get elected. One of the classic lines I've heard so far is "I'm proud to be in the best country in the world help me get elected so I can change it" or something like that.
Now reality for me right now is Auston,,, not the city but the little boy.

This little guy is one of the riders at EE that I have the privlege of helping. It wasn't long ago he couldn't walk now he does pretty good. He is on Hiedi Ho and he is happy here because he just got a blue ribbon. This readers is reality for me right now.
I'm going to hang two images at the Fine arts display at the hospital in Washington and will be changing them out every month or so.
Lets see I think thats it for now I'll try and be more mindful of your need's Paul and keep this more up to date.
Today has been a good day
great day everyone

neglecting my space and for that I do apologize to whom ever visits here. I'm unmotivated at the moment as far as posting here and after reviewing this site I really need to update some things because I'm doing some things that i would like to share. Cards , prints , restorations all need to be updated.I can't promise a time frame just that its on my list.
The web site for EE will be started in earnest in the next week as soon as I can make arrangement for a meeting with the webmaster for some lessons, I may end up taking a class for this before I'm through . I'm pretty sure I'm in over my head its just how far is the question, but we'll see.
Bill and Kim will be home for a few days this week , I'm hoping to have everyone in one spot for at least an hour or so.
Progress continues with Jim. I'm pretty sure he could do OK in Dallas now he just has to continue gaining confidence and working. The need to be able to solve the day to day stuff without depending on outside help is important as is having steady income. This fall is the goal to get him where he wants to be.
I volunteer at EE today for a couple of hours and hope to get back here to work on some images sometime today as well as the card project I'm tinkering with.
One image to share "Waterlily"

Thats it for now maybe more later you never know
great day

was great. I had a chance to see some people I haven't seen in awhile. Took Jim to rehab today while Karen worked on her room. This is a space we lovingly refer to as her room. Its where everything goes when it's in the way or there isn't anyplace else for it.After rehab Jim and I went to the 'art cafe' , had a sandwich and talked to the owner about hanging some of my images their. I'm not sure this is going to happen but I'm going to bring a few in to show her and we'll see. She leans very heavy toward painted art work so I'm going to show her some that look like paint.
Ok enough for now everyone is resting at this moment and I'm going to get on the bike and get the mail and maybe do some printing this afternoon.
great day

the Parenting Handbook. There must be one out there somewhere written buy someone who has kids. It seems most are put together by some dimwitted professor who has no kids, but a degree in everything. Raising a family is the most difficult thing in the world to accomplish. When your doing it you don't notice because your so busy taking care of everything, working, looking at report cards, trying to sort out activities, trying to make decisions for your kids that will prove to be a positive experience and maybe even learn something along the way.We have been truly blessed in that our Sons have a good measure of common sense many talents and are successful in their own right.
Helping Jim through his situation now brings home to me why in most cases young folks are blessed with the task of making those decision.
It is measurably more emotional making those decisions not being of the younger generation. Did I say its difficult and emotiional??? I guess I did.
With the help of a higher power and allot of that common sense I mentioned and cooler heads we will preserver.
By the way the dimwitted professor comment was meant to exclude 11t7t3.
great day everyone
