We made the drive in 10 hours give or take a bit. All is well in Dallas.
Jim is doing well although he is still recovering with respect to his left side , but walking with a cane and pushing the limits is his present work ethic.
We brought some things back with us and stacked up some things for the next trip in a few weeks, so this project is about finished until he move's again. It looks like he'll be completely moved by the end of March unless he forgets to call his landlord.
We're back to one dog at our house and things are much more quiet.

I'm revisiting some things here and remotivating myself a bit. I'm going to try and sort it all out and do some planning and thinking about my work and what I would like to do with it in the future.

So I'm going to take a blog vacation for a couple of weeks. I'll post a picture when I'm working on something that strikes me but otherwise I'm going to put this to sleep for a bit. Pictures are worth a thousand words anyway.

We packed and moved some things for JIm and kept very busy. Not much to say at the moment but I'll add more tomorrow night. We leave tomorrow morning as soon as we wake up. We'll pack tonight and finish up some organizing at Jims. A trip back here in a couple of weeks to finish up and bring some more things back to Mo.

In ok and stayed at Jims old place last night. The drive down here was a bit erie. The ice storm this winter has changed the shape of many of the trees in the forests in Mo. and Ok. and it give the trees a non traditional shape.
We picked Jim up this morning and went back to his place on Anita and he was finally reunited with his dog Gracie and she was really glad to see him. Molly got into the food can last night and I'm not sure how much she ate but she looked like she swallowed a volley ball. So this morning I didn't feed her at all and she drank about a gallon of water and her belly swelled up again so I have to really watch the food can and we both have to go an a excercise and a work out schedule as soon as we get back to Mo. We'll probably drive back Monday. I hope to get some pictures of Jim and Graciea and maybe some of burts painting if it is truly finished.
Jims new room at Roberts is bright and put together and his final month at Anita will probably be March and we'll probably make one more quick trip back here sometime before that to take the last load of things back to Mo. for storage till he gets his own place.
Ok he looks great and is getting around with a cain an has gained back the weight he's lost. Still struggles with endurance but that should improve with more work.
I may post some picture's I guess it depends on time, this connection here at Anita is dial up and very slow. If I don't I'll post when we get back.
I will say it again ,I believe the power of the will and spirit is something we'll never completely understand along with prayer and support. But seeing Jim and his progress is proof of the power.
I'm very grateful for his support and his will to live because I think some of his most important work is still left to do.

and were heading for Dallas as soon as we get the car packed ,dogs watered and fed (not to much of either) and the house shut down (everything unpluged ,water off ,,you know.) I'm not sure if we'll make it to Roberts tonight we may stay at JIms old place. 35E,30, Hampton and many lanes of traffic to cross back and forth over may be more than I want after driving 10 or so hours. I would hate to take a wrong turn and end up in Waco,,nothing wrong with Waco just not where we need to be.
We'll probably stay a couple of days and head back Sunday or MOnday at the latest unless Jim has a chore that I need to take care of ,but by the way it sound everything is under control.
Getting Gracie back where she belongs is a good thing Jim will have someone to talk to during the day besides himself.
Ok thats about it.
