Karen will be returning to Mo. this week sometime weather permitting. Jim at this point is up and down as for as his attitude and if he is to servive, this has to change. Our family his mother brothers,sisters, and I are all looking for something that wil help the hospital bring up his spirits and we would like him to take control of his situation as much as is possible. There's a general rule that if you think about it applies to us all. You do it or someone else will. At this moment that someone else is his family.
Now here's a thought that I want to share with all of you. If Jim has shared a thought, a wish , a want a need or feeling with any of you e-mail me please with any information you can. The hospital staff is going to arrange for a massage for Jim (thanks for the idea Robert) also I believe they will be contacting the resource center for a counselor that he's fimular with. We hope to have the doctors talk with him this week with as much informatiion as possible.
One last thing. If anyone feels the urge to council him as to what you would do if this were you do it as if you were talking to your son or daughter and share those thoughts with his family.
As always I'm humbled by the concern and caring of his friends and we all want the same thing I'm trying to get everyone on the same page.
