Doctors visit, pre-admittance for surgery Thursday, dimmer switch and new light for dinning room all on the list and now checked off.
Tomorrow I'll catch up on the image posts here. Lots of pictures from the holidays. I'm thinking maybe a gallery instead of two's and three's.
Over the holidays I joined Face Book and I'm not sure just why but I did.
This is overwhelming the way the contacts multiply. I'm not sure I'm going to continue.
New images at the hospital and three at the art show at the riverfront gallery. No awards but lots of exposure. I'm not sure about the awards on art work and photography. I can't figure out how things are judged and I don't want to get caught up in that approach to images. If you like what you see good and if you don't that's ok as well, everything is subject to taste.
Norm told me Jim painted today and that's good thing.

try and visit the year with a quick look back on Jan. 1 and will make this a quickie.
Jim finished rehab and moved back to Dallas. That was a biggie. I continue to work with photos and look for that one connection that keeps my hobby/work profitable. My grand son became a teenager. (another biggie)
We met with the cousin's this year and all are doing well. I had surgery on my right foot, something that has been bothering me for years ,and its doing well. I started to volunteer at EE and was blown away by the feeling of doing something really good.
There is much more but these are a few of the highlights.
Now for the New Year.
I start the year with a surgery on my knee. A cartilage tear that happened while I was volunteering. A photography show here in Washington in a couple of days.
A trip to Dallas to bring Gracie back to Jim. I hope he has his boxes unpacked by that time. Rehab for my knee and back to biking and workouts at the Y. A trip to see Bill and Kim before spring, maybe during rehab.
I would like to spiff up my website a bit and give it some life.
There is much more and as the year progresses additions here will no doubt be added and dully noted.
It's important to add that while Karen and I watch and take part of in all of this we continue to learn about one another and draw closer to our 50th wedding anniversary in 4 years.
I'm going to try and start posting images today sometime it depends on how my knee feels and wether I get my other (very small list) things done for the day.

is back on line thanks to Seth the webmaster. Besides being a Professor,Site builder, New dog owner, photographer, he is a good friend who quickly tweaks this space to keep it running.
