it back ok. We left Raleigh at 4AM and got home around 6. Rain and snow in the mountains but we pushed through the 25 degree slush and did ok. Not much else for the moment,unpacking,some shopping for groceries, a couple of errands and back home for some lay around time.

out the weather. The plan is to return this week sometime between the bad weather. Its snowing and raining in Raleigh today so maybe tomorrow.
Until than we take care of the puppies Molly and Buddy and rest for the 15 hour drive.


All is well and with any luck we should be on our way tomorrow or may be not.

To Myrtle Beach tomorrow morning and heading for Bill and Kim's.




We took a last trip to the State Park and Molly got to play in the sand.
We're going out for dinner this evening and finish packing for our short trip tomorow.
Ok I think that's it for now ,I'm looking forward to a big sea food buffet tonight,,stocking up on tumbs.

was cool and rained off and on so we went to the Tanger Outlet Mall. I have to say I'm not much of a shopper and neither is Karen but but we kinda let our hair down. It was a pretty good day. We took Molly with us and stopped by the Barc Parc on the way back so she could mix it up with some of her new friends. Cool again today not 18 but cool never the less for this area and this time of year. We're going to try and see the Millers this morning at breakfast and will probably make some last visits to the State Park (if its not raining) and start putting things together for leaving here Saturday. We pack in little 15 and 20 minutes segments instead of all at once.

Karen and I were getting read for a wedding,,,,,,OURS. This is our 47th Anniversary. I'm thinking anyone who's been married any length of time will tell you that it's not been perfect everyday and we're no exception. We've had ups and downs and at the end of the day Patience, and Love have won out.
So for me today is a day where I publicly say " thank you Karen for being so patient and loving I know it couldn't have been easy".
We spent the day yesterday on the beach and tried to take a picture of both of us by holding the camera ourselves. On our 47th wedding anniversary I'm posting our attempt at a anniversary picture.
