everyone. Holidays are good but the when their over its time for reflection. so that's what I'm doin. Art show today at the Depot and i'm going to place 2 pieces.
I renewed this space again this year but this may b e the last. I'm not a dedicated blogger and I'm not doing allot of new photography at the moment. Lots of restoration work , volunteering and that seems to be my focus for now.
I'm working on retooling my work space and cleaning it up, it really needs it ,than lots of scanning of family images to share and a redo for my web page if i decide to keep it.

to put Lu's picture back into the archive till her 60th.
This has been a very busy time since the last post and I have to say I'm thankful for it.
Since I retired everyone has suggested that the most important think for me to do is to stay busy. Well I guess we got our wish, but I have to respectfully disagree a little. The most important thing is to stay useful and at the end of the day or week which ever you can look back and say you made a difference somewhere or for someone. When you take on a task its important to finish and be able to look back at it and see some progress wether it be a hole in the ground or a pile of fire wood or a unspoken thank you in someone's eye's.
My photography has taken a back seat for the time being to restoring images and volunteering at EE.
Helping someone do a simple task of walking with assistance for ten feet or supporting someone with setups on the back of a horse, seeing that struggle and that silent thank you in in their eyes is a rewarding experience that we should all try and experience wether it be at your work place helping someone over a ruff spot or just something as simple as engaging in conversation with someone who is looking for a friend.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and a very good time to start trying to make a difference large or small.
My list of things continues to grow , some photo road trips, redesign the web site and continued efforts at EE.
If I don't add anything here till after Thanksgiving everyone have a great day and my hope is that you make a difference.

Has a very important Birthday today. How old is she??? I'm not saying but it starts with a 5 and ends with a 0.
She was in our wedding so it is a reminder that we are getting older as well.
